Northilda West - character for the Metapunk Season 2 Metakids non-contest

History of creation:

Northilda West was inspired by a photo of North West where she and her mom Kim Kardashian were walking in Italy. Her displeased face and nice fashion look served as the basis for this character.
Another reference was Matilda from the movie Leon - another child who is the epitome of punk for me. Hence is the name of the character - Nortilda West (North West + Mathilda).
Northilda's hair was inspired by turquoise hair of Cheri Nowlin from Cyberpunk 2077 and Joi from Blade Runner 2049. Also the whole environment was inspired by this game and movie.
I also noticed that there are a lot of puffer jackets in digital fashion now - a trend that will go into the metaverses. Therefore, the main subject of Northilda’s look is a puffer jacket. Graffiti slogans are drawn on it - which personifies rebellion. I was frustrated when I couldn’t transfer textures properly and couldn’t make animation work in C4D and those slogans were the creative outlet for me
The top was inspired by the North West’s corset top.
The shorts were inspired by Gucci Man.

Nortilda West travels through the metaverses by meditating and flying.
Her braids fly in the wind and can live on their own.
